History
1902 Paper mill begins producing newsprint with one paper machine at 200 feet per minute.
1917 Charles K. Blandin purchases the paper mill.
1921 A second paper machine is installed.
1941 The Charles K. Blandin Foundation is incorporated to be endowed with Blandin Paper Co.
1955 Blandin invests in trailing blade coater and manufactures the lightest weight coated paper ever produced, a success that makes Blandin internationally renowned.
1989 woodroom and groundwood pulp mill are added
1997 UPM-Kymmene acquires Blandin Paper Company.
January 2003 Nos. 3 and 4 paper machines are shut down.
